- Development of FEMP (Fugitive Emissions Management Plan)
- Submission or TIER applications
- Planning, coordinating, and executing mandates related to environmental impact studies, other forms of environmental assessments and environmental screenings, environmental permitting and authorizations.
- Preparing technical reports, permitting applications, environmental impact assessments and other associated documents.
- Working with clients during the planning phases of capital projects including undertaking strategic environmental constraint analysis to support site selection and project design.
- Evaluate and consider potential environmental impact and compliance issues.
- Provide clear and concise findings, recommendations, and options regarding client deliverables.
- Responsible for data review and field quality control
- Act as liaison with AER / Public Land Officers, AEP officials as required, field consultants, and surveyors.Qualifications / Experience
- Experience with TIER and One Stop AER submissions
- Experience with GHG emission and carbon credits
- Strong communication skills
- Works well in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including technical writing.
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to plan multiple activities.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and learn quickly
- Proficiency in Excel
A basic understanding of process from wellhead to facility, knolwedge & basic comprehension of a meter schematics, strong writing skills. We value having the six pillars of character, which are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide support to senior measurement specialists as-needed
- Create, maintain, and coordinate the development and maintenance of metering schematics
- Assist with data management and report the development of measurement reviews
- Assist with efficiently executing EPAP projects
- Provide support with the development of client applications for site-specific deviations to regulators
- Assist with the data management of maintenance and sampling reduction initiatives
Qualifications:- Ability to work independently on completing projects
- Basic understanding of production flow from wellhead to a processing facility
- To have an understanding of regulatory documents (i.e., AER and MER Directives 007, 017, 042, 060, 076, and OGC Measurement Manuals: Measurement Requirements for Upstream Oil and Gas, Flare Incinerator Vent Gas Requirements for Upstream Oil and Gas, OGGA, etc.)
- Have a basic understanding of EFM systems
- Have a basic understanding of FDC systems
- Be efficient at navigating and utilizing regulators’ facility tracking systems (i.e., Petrinex)
- Basic understanding of metering schematics
- Basic understanding of different metering technologies
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Proficient with Microsoft software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Complete fugitive emissions surveys using gas-imaging cameras
- Quantify leaks using camera manufacturers’ software
- Tag leaking components using Blue Chip leak tags, record, and document leaks
- Assist with fugitive emissions reporting under Directive 060
- Complete equipment inventories of pneumatic controllers, vents, pumps, and gas-fired equipment
- Help senior staff on a variety of projects
- Ensure that project requirements are met in a timely and effective manner
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes and participate in regular field audits for competency and training purposes
Qualifications / Experience
- Industry-related certification (instrumentation preferred)
- Experience with handheld instrumentation/analyzers and infrared cameras
- Understanding of AER Directive 060
- Willingness to travel in the field and highway across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia
- Valid Alberta Class 5 operator’s license or equivalent with clean driver abstract
- Required HSE training for fieldwork (first aid and H2S as a minimum)
- Organized and can prioritize multiple tasks
- Independent contractors and those seeing direct employment are both welcome
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Fuel Flare Vent (FFV) inventory data collection from upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities
- Support emission technicians with regulatory duties
Working independently and as part of a team in the field - Flexible and highly motivated to learn and understand the assigned scope of work and see it through to completion
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes and participate in regular field audits for competency and training purpose
Qualifications / Experience
- Industry-related certification (instrumentation preferred)
- Basic oil and gas upstream and gas plant process understanding
- Data collection experience
- Experience working with basic hand tools
- Willingness to travel in the field and highway across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia
- Valid Alberta Class 5 operator’s license or equivalent with clean driver abstract
- Required HSE training for fieldwork (first aid and H2S as a minimum)
- Independent contractors and those seeing direct employment are both welcome
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in equipment maintenance, replacement, and installation.
- Handle calibration and instrumentation tubing tasks.
- Operate various tools and testing equipment.
- Work with advanced calibration equipment.
- Conduct meter checks, gas detection, and more.
- Perform equipment repairs under guidance.
- Adhere to company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- 1st-4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
- Required certifications (H2S, First Aid, CSO, CSTS).
- Oil and Gas industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation techniques.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Conduct sales meetings with potential clients.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to effectively position products and services.
Experience:
Proven experience with minimum 3 years in business development and sales.
Must have a background in oil and gas (Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales deals.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
